General Questions

An old age home is a residential facility where senior citizens live full-time in a safe, supervised community environment, with meals, activities, housekeeping, and social support included. A nursing home focuses primarily on intensive medical and clinical care for high-dependency patients. Quality Elder Homes sits in between — it is an assisted living community that combines the comfort and warmth of home with round-the-clock medical support.
Assisted LivingNoida
At Quality Elder Homes, care packages start at ₹29,500 per month and go up depending on the level of care, room type, and medical requirements. Across Noida and Delhi NCR, basic senior homes range from ₹15,000–₹40,000/month, standard assisted living from ₹40,000–₹85,000/month, and premium or dementia-specific care from ₹90,000 and above.

You will need: (1) Government-issued photo ID of the resident — Aadhaar Card, Passport, or Voter ID. (2) Recent passport-size photographs. (3) Medical records, current prescriptions, and the treating doctor's summary. (4) Emergency contact details for two family members. (5) A completed admission form provided by us.

An old age home typically provides accommodation, meals, and basic supervision for seniors who are largely independent. Assisted living goes a step further by offering personalised support with daily activities like bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility, alongside professional nursing and medical oversight. Quality Elder Homes offers assisted living — meaning your parent receives the level of help they actually need.
Assisted LivingComparison
Both options work well, but the right choice depends on your parent's medical needs, social needs, and your family's situation. Home care works well for seniors with mild needs and strong family support. However, when a senior requires 24/7 supervision, specialised nursing, dementia care, or physiotherapy, a well-run assisted living home like Quality Elder Homes offers safer, more consistent care.
Home CareComparison
Families often wait longer than they should. Consider a senior care home when: your parent has frequent falls or safety risks at home; their medical needs exceed what home caregivers can manage; they are showing signs of loneliness, depression, or poor nutrition; a family member providing care is burning out; or if you live abroad or in another city.

Cost, Fees & Payment

Yes, a one-time refundable security deposit is collected at admission in addition to the monthly care fee. The exact deposit amount depends on the care package selected. All fees, what is included in the monthly rate, and what counts as an additional charge are communicated clearly in writing before you sign anything.
DepositFees
Currently, most standard health insurance plans in India do not cover residential assisted living or old age home fees. Some critical illness policies or senior-specific health plans may partially cover hospitalisation or nursing care. The day-to-day cost of assisted living is generally paid out of pocket by families.
InsuranceCoverage
We accept payment via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI, cheque, and other common modes. Monthly fees are billed in advance. For NRI families paying from abroad, we share our bank details for international wire transfers. We issue proper receipts for all payments.
PaymentNRI
Yes, families can withdraw a resident from our care with advance notice as per our admission agreement. The security deposit refund policy and notice period are clearly stated at the time of admission. We do not hold anyone against their will — our goal is your parent's wellbeing.

Admission Process

The process is straightforward. Call us on +91 99997 90161 or fill out the enquiry form on our website. Our team will schedule a free facility visit and a care assessment for your parent. We then share a personalised care plan and cost structure. Once you are satisfied, admission paperwork is completed and your parent moves in on a mutually agreed date.
AdmissionProcess
Yes, we encourage families to consider a short-term trial stay of 1–4 weeks before committing to long-term care. This gives your parent time to experience the environment, food, activities, and staff firsthand. Many families find the trial period removes all doubt.
Trial StayShort-term
Absolutely, and we strongly encourage it. A personal visit is the best way to assess any elder care facility. You will see the rooms, meet the staff, observe the environment, taste the food, and get honest answers to all your questions. We never pressure families into a quick decision.
VisitFacility Tour
The first two weeks are the most important. Our staff makes an active effort to learn each resident's name, food preferences, daily habits, and life history. We introduce new residents to other residents gradually. Family visits during the early period are encouraged. Most residents become comfortable within two to three weeks.
AdjustmentTransition
We offer flexible stays. The minimum for a short-term or respite stay is typically 2 weeks. For long-term care, families usually commit month by month or for 3–6 month terms. We do not lock families into rigid long-term contracts.

Visiting HoursFamily
This conversation is one of the most emotionally difficult things families face. Approach it with honesty and compassion — avoid framing it as a permanent removal from home. Focus on the benefits: regular meals, company of peers, activities, and professional care. Involve your parent in the decision and consider a trial stay.
Decision MakingFamily
Yes. Many seniors experience anxiety, grief, depression, or adjustment difficulties when moving to a new environment. Our staff is trained to recognise early signs of emotional distress and respond with compassion. We coordinate with psychologists or counsellors on a referral basis.

Comparison & Alternatives

Government-run old age homes provide basic accommodation and meals at little or no cost, but typically have long waiting lists, limited medical care, and minimal personalisation. Quality Elder Homes is a private, paid assisted living facility with 24/7 nursing, individualised care plans, activities, physiotherapy, and a home-like environment.
GovernmentPrivate
Home nursing means a nurse visits or lives with your parent at their own home to provide medical and personal care. Residential elder care means your parent lives full-time at a facility where 24/7 nursing, meals, activities, security, and medical support are all built in. Residential care provides a consistent, supervised, socially rich environment.
Home NursingResidential Care
Quality Elder Homes is an assisted living and elder care facility, not a hospital or ICU. We provide nursing care, medical supervision, and emergency response, but seniors requiring intensive ICU-level clinical treatment are best served in a hospital setting.
ICUHospital
Quality Elder Homes is rated 4.9 stars on Google with over 200 family reviews and trusted by 500+ families. Our facility is designed to feel like home, not an institution. We maintain a low resident count per caregiver, offer personalised care plans, provide transparent pricing, and stay in regular communication with every family.

Decision Making & What to Look For

Visit in person rather than relying on websites. Assess cleanliness, how staff interact with existing residents, and whether residents look happy and engaged. Ask about: staff qualifications, doctor availability at night, emergency protocols, what is included in the monthly fee, and how they handle a health decline. Ask for a trial stay and read Google reviews.
ChoosingDecision
Pay attention to: the smell of the facility (cleanliness is evident immediately); how staff speak to and about residents; whether existing residents look engaged and comfortable; room conditions and safety features; what happens at night; how emergencies are handled; what is included in the monthly fee versus billed separately; and whether a doctor is on-site or only on-call.
VisitChecklist
Consider professional elder care when your parent: is falling frequently; is not eating or drinking adequately; is not taking medication reliably; shows signs of cognitive decline, confusion, or wandering; is becoming aggressive or distressed; is developing bedsores or hygiene issues; or is visibly lonely and withdrawn. Also consider it when you as a family caregiver are experiencing burnout.
SignsNeed for Care
No. Choosing a professional elder care home is an act of love, not abandonment. It means you recognise that your parent's needs go beyond what any single family can manage alone, and you are ensuring they receive expert, consistent, 24/7 care, social engagement, medical support, and dignity.
AbandonmentMyth
Dignity is not a policy — it is the foundation of everything we do. We address residents by their preferred name. Personal care is provided with privacy and respect. Residents are not rushed, shouted at, or made to feel like a burden. Their opinions are sought on matters that affect their daily life.
DignityRespect
Quality Elder Homes Pvt. Ltd. is a registered private company operating in compliance with applicable regulations for elder care facilities in Uttar Pradesh. We follow all standard norms related to senior care, fire safety, and food handling.
